The Confederation of Tanzania Industries visited the Sino-Tan Industrial Park.

On September 8th, the Director of the Committee of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI) led all CTI executives to visit the Sino-Tan Industrial Park for on-site promotion.

Mr. Huang Zaisheng, Chairman of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park, and Mr. Chen Xiong, General Manager, received the CTI executives and provided a detailed introduction to the situation of the industrial park.

During the discussion, Mr. Huang Zaisheng introduced the transportation facilities, planning and design concepts, tax incentives, and the construction progress of the first phase of the project at the industrial park. The Chairman of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries expressed particular interest in the overall planning and tax incentives of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park. Learning about the planned land port and its convenience for transportation for enterprises in the park, he praised the tax incentives such as a 10-year exemption from corporate income tax, value-added tax on imported raw materials, and stamp duty for enterprises in the park.

When they reached the model factory under construction, Mr. Huang Zaisheng introduced the current development progress of the first phase and the situation of upcoming enterprises to the CTI executives. He also explained the development vision of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park and the economic and social effects it will generate after operation.

Dr. Samwel Nyantahe, former Chairman and Advisor of CTI, mentioned in a media interview, "The Sino-Tan Industrial Park is the largest modern industrial park I have seen in Tanzania and even in East Africa. It not only has industries that Tanzania urgently needs, such as food processing, garment manufacturing, and building materials production, but also future supporting facilities like logistics and e-commerce platforms. I believe the prospects of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park are very broad, and this will be a great attempt to rewrite Tanzania's industrial history."

Mr. Leodegar Tenga, the current Executive Director of CTI, stated in a media interview, "Mr. Huang Zaisheng is full of confidence in the planning, design, and development of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park. This is the most significant gain from our visit to the park today because the helmsman of a company is crucial, determining the future development of the enterprise. Today, we deeply feel the strong development capabilities and future development vision of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park. This is the first time in the history of Tanzanian industry that will bring not only 100,000 direct jobs but also an annual output value of up to $6 billion to the country's economic development."

Mr. Huang Zaisheng, Chairman of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park, also expressed in an interview, "The Sino-Tan Industrial Park is a project initiated and implemented by the 6th government of Tanzania, personally proposed by President Hassan. Invested, constructed, and operated by Sino-Tan Kebaha Industrial Park Co., Ltd., the project has basically completed the infrastructure construction of the first phase of 2 square kilometers in just over a year since May last year. Currently, enterprises entering the park can enjoy a 10-year tax incentive policy. Today's visit by the executives of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries has inspired us deeply. We will live up to expectations and continue to promote the development and construction of the industrial park."

Currently, the first phase of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park is in full swing. The one-stop service center, including the command center on the first floor and some office buildings, is already in operation. The construction of the initial workshops in the park is underway, and some enterprises have already settled in. The main axis and lateral main roads of the park have completed the concrete pouring.
