On November 4, 2023, more than 50 students from the Youth League and Women's League of the Central, provincial and regional Revolutionary Parties of Tanzania visited the Sino-Tan Industrial Park, led by Chizhga,the Dean of Nyerere Leadership Academy of Tanzania, Yu Hailin, deputy director of the International Exchange Center of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Xu Sujiang, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania.
At the meeting, Mr. Huang Zaisheng, The chairman of the Sino-Tan Industrial Park, first introduced the basic situation of the industrial park to the visiting group, including its scale, facilities and development history. Afterwards, the participants watched relevant videos about the Sino-Tan Industrial Park and got a detailed understanding of the operation and development of the park.
Dean Chiziga said that the Sino-Tan Industrial Park is great significance to Tanzania and has become a witness of China-Tanzania friendship. This is the third time that she has led the students of the College to visit the Sino-Tan Industrial Park. She emphasized that students should spread the knowledge and experience gained during the study tour to their hometowns and contribute to their development. The project has also been included in Tanzania's Third Five-Year Plan, providing a beneficial reference for national development.Director Yu Hailin said that China-Tanzania friendship has a long history, and China's assistance to Tanzania covers both government and non-governmental fields, among which the Sino-Tan Industrial Park is a vivid example. He highlighted the close ties between China and Tanzania, with particular emphasis on the sustainability of Chinese aid to promote Tanzania's development.
Counsellor Xu Sujiang said that China's successful development experience can provide a valuable reference for Tanzania. He encouraged Tanzania to make full use of its geographical location and favorable economic environment to attract more international investment and boost the country's development. He stressed that Tanzania has great potential to achieve economic prosperity like China.
This study tour not only promoted the friendly cooperation between China and Tanzania, but also provided a valuable opportunity for Tanzanian students to learn and understand the Sino-Tan industrial Park. The two sides look forward to further strengthening cooperation in the future and jointly promoting the development of Tanzania and the friendly relations between China and Tanzania.
At present, the first phase of Sino-Tan Industrial Park is in full swing. The command center on the first floor of the one-stop service center supporting the park and some office buildings have been put into use. The first batch of factories in the park is being built one after another, and there are already enterprises stationed there; Concrete pouring has been completed on the central axis and the transverse main road of the park.
