The prelude event for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation – The 2024 China-Tanzania Community of Shared Future Forum was successfully held in Tanzania.

On August 22, 2024, as a prelude event to the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the 2024 China-Tanzania Community of Shared Future Forum was grandly held in Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania. The forum brought together over 300 representatives from various sectors of both China and Tanzania to jointly explore the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in different fields At the forum's opening ceremony, the Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania and the Tanzanian Minister of Planning and Investment delivered speeches, emphasizing the deep historical foundation of China-Tanzania friendship and expressing high hopes for future cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, and investment. The ambassador highlighted the long-standing China-Tanzania relationship and called for further strengthening cooperation to elevate bilateral ties to a new level. As a special guest at the forum, Mr. Huang Zaisheng, Chairman of the SINO TAN Industrial Park, was invited to participate and deliver a speech. In his remarks, he shared the development journey and future plans of the industrial park, stating that its construction is one of the key achievements of China-Tanzania cooperation. He noted that the industrial park has not only created numerous job opportunities in Tanzania but also contributed to the rapid development of the local economy. The forum saw a lively atmosphere, with participants engaging actively in discussions on cooperation between China and Tanzania in areas such as investment, infrastructure development, and education.
